I had my yearly physical the other day. This always makes me nervous. I eat right and exercise regularly, but at 86 you never know what will be the result... and it was wonderful. All tests where right Cholesterol blood pressure. Sugar one point over the borderline. His parting words, “Keep doing what you doing your hart is very strong and you are in a very good shape”.
I walked out of that office on air. I work so hard to keep myself healthy and it works big way.
I changed my routine, I swim with fins on my ankles for resistance I mile three times a week. I work out in the gym treadmill stepper and different weight lifting machines twice a week. I do this regularly all year round, this is what keeps me mobile and fit, and it slows down the aging process.
You can do it to if you are serious about your health. It is a matter of will power,
Consistency, priority. Do it alone in a group with a partner. No need to spend a lot of money at all.
If you have, any questions ask me. I would love to hear from you.
I started to be serious about my health at age 75 and I wish somebody would open my eyes at 45. However, it is never too late. It is hard. You have to cange your eating habits and life style and older we get harder it is, but not impossible.
Once you start and becomes a routine, it is much easier. As soon as you start seeing, results that will keep you motivated.

Aging in Slow Motion
To stay fit food and exercise is not enough. You have to set priorities, change the way you think, laugh at yourself and with others, and accept what you cannot change. Do not take things to seriously, forgive and forget. Life is to short as it is. Enjoy every single day; do not waste any of them. I just turned not so long ago 86. Seems to me that not so far back I was only twenty and all of a sudden 86. What has happened? War happeneed marriage happened, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren happened and all this so quickly. Every day is a gift and not only to the elderly. What you miss today it is gone by tomorrow.
If you can manage it, travel and see as much of the world as you can manage.
I am so proud to advertise Ahawa. Many many years ago, I visited the region at the Dead Sea. You never forget the experience. It is challenging interesting and emotional.
IIf you do or did, this trip let me know. I would love to hear about it.
