Healthy Aging With The Right Diet and Exercise

Our ancestor gathered and eat food, for hunger or to celebrate victory.
Today we still eat because of hunger or to celebrate anything, overcome boredom, depression anger, watching the games, getting together with friends and on and one. We eat and eat and eat some more and the result is clogged artery, high blood pressure, high sugar, diabetes, obesity, hart atack and overweight children.
A healthy life style does not start in the Dr’s office. It starts with you and we are all responsible for our health and well-being. We have to stop medicating or comforting our self with food. We have to rethink how we look at food and use it to our advantage. I know it is not easy, I am doing it myself, but it is POSIBLE if you rally take your health and well-being seriously. Talk to a nutritionist, do it with a friend Google the diabetic food guide. There are many choices in there no need to be deprived of anything. Design a routine for yourself and incorporate some exercise. Walking is a very beneficial exercise and inexpensive as well.
Once you discipline yourself to a routine and do it for a month regularly, it becomes much easier and you will do it without thinking.
Watch and monitor your children’s activity and food intake. Be a good role model

Slow The Aging Process By Walking

An effective and easy way to exercise is walking. Exercise is a very big part to slow the aging process. You feel more vital and energized. It has to be a daily routine not just once a while. You have a friend do it together, if not do it alone.
30 minutes a day for 30 days will give you a good start. You will feel more energized and vital and your muscles will be prepared for longer and more strenuous exercise. If 30 minutes is too much break it down to 10 minutes three tOZimes a day.
I will quote something from Dr OZ
First Things First
According to Real Age expert Mehmet Oz, MD, an out-of-shape muscle is deficient in two things: tiny powerhouse factories (called mitochondria) that generate juice for your workouts, and contractile proteins that give the muscle strength. In addition, walking for 30 minutes a day -- or for 10 minutes three times a day -- for a month replenishes mitochondria and contractile proteins, so your body will be ready and able to build on your fitness routine

Exercise To Slow Aging

Health experts agree that beside good diet you also need regular exercise because this two are the fundamental building blogs for a healthy life and for slowing down the aging process. As you get older the body changes and to have the right food and proper level of activity it is more important than ever to keep you strong energized and therefore reducing the risk for heart attack, cancer, and diabetes.
A good easy and cheap exercise is walking, not just occasionally but regularly every day. 30 minutes a day or if that is too much then 10 minutes 3 times a day.
With a little motivation, this is easily achieved. Find a friend to do with, park the car a block from your destination, and walk. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, at least one floor. Whatever you do make it an integral part of you daily living.
I am not selling here anything other than an idea, but I am doing it and see results and want to share it with anybody who listens.
